At Rangeview Intermediate we have whanau houses. These are based on four areas surrounding the Waitakere area, Arataki, Waiatarua, Pukematekeo, anawhata. Students compete each work in many areas to gain valuable whanau house points. Points can be earned for attendance,  R.I.S.E cards, whanau house chants, and during our singing and dancing assembly to name a few.
