Pituku
Here at Rangeview we have two bilingual classes where students learn about Te Ao Māori.
In Pītuku it is important for students to understand and embrace their identity, showcasing their mana and confidence. Everyone has the potential to grow and succeed, and it’s crucial that they feel supported along the way. Education should be meaningful, interesting, and positive, enabling individuals to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in Te Ao Māori.
Students are withdrawn from normal classes to enjoy a fun day of learning including Te Reo Maori, Tikanga, Mahi-a-Toi and Kapa Haka.
Year 7 Pītuku – The class runs on a Wednesday for the whole day.
Year 8 Pītuku – The class runs on a Friday for the whole day.
