Friends of Rangeview PTA

He karanga tēnei no Puketirohanga kia hui tahi ai te Whānau whānui ki to mātou hui PTA.

You are cordially invited to the first meeting of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for Rangeview Intermediate.

The meeting is for all parents, whānau, students, teachers and trustees who are interested in discussing the aims and objectives of our PTA.

Monday 4th December in the school library.

5.30pm start and finishing at 6.30pm

We look forward to meeting with you.

Children may attend under your supervision.  Some books and quiet games will be available.

The PTA will be a group who meet regularly, and work together for the benefit of the students and school.

Sometimes these groups are known as “Friends of the School” or similar.

The aims may include:

  • Supporting children’s education
  • Strengthening whakawhanaungatanga and building the relationship between home and school
  • Ensuring that parents are receiving the information they need regarding education in our school and in the wider community
  • Volunteering time and expertise to help with activities and special events
  • Fundraising for school activities and improvements
  • Discussing issues as a parent community

There was a positive response to the survey in October about starting a PTA at Rangeview.

80% of respondents support the formation of a PTA, and over 40% would volunteer their time and expertise to help with school events, fundraisers, or projects.

Please come along and share your thoughts and views.

Ngā mihi māhana ki a koutou katoa mō ngā manaakitanga.
