PRINCIPAL'S STATEMENT
Rangeview Intermediate School is a school that is built on tradition. Part of that tradition is its values; those of respect, self-control, integrity, creativity and innovation, and a good work ethic. We have a reputation for setting and achieving high standards, in learning, dress, and behaviour.

ERO commented in their last report that students reported feeling safe at Rangeview; this is a statement that we are very proud of and strive to make this true for every pupil. In order to do this we have a highly proactive pastoral care team.

With over sixty different schools from all over Auckland contributing to our student body, Rangeview Intermediate is seen as a highly desirable target school; and an ideal way of preparing your child for continuing education in the secondary system.

We offer each student a broad-based education, incorporating as many learning opportunities as we can. Our curriculum is up-to-date and meets the needs of our students through an integrated approach to achieving individual learning outcomes. Each student will also know the basics, as well as developing those personal and study skills to succeed in our ever-changing society.

With a view to developing life-long learners, we endeavour to cater for the individual learning needs of each child. Specialist classes in learning support and the gifted are also available.

Rangeview Intermediate offers a wide range of sporting and cultural disciplines to further enrich students' learning. Students also have the opportunity to experience overseas travel in order to widen their perspectives.

As Principal of Rangeview Intermediate I believe this school offers the best that there is in the education of the emerging adolescent. We aim to help build your child in to a valued member of society with a genuine love for learning.
